  • Rest and Reflection

    Hello again!

I have just returned from a short break and I’m feeling inspired.

Rest is an important part of the creative process, and as I looked out at the sea, it gave me the space I needed to reflect on my creative journey.

I made sure to take the time I needed to journal and celebrate my wins, and it turns out that I’ve made a lot more progress than I realised.

(This is another helpful reminder to be kind to myself!)

Now I’m home again, I’m looking forward to sharing more adventures from the Mystic Woods with you very soon.

In the meantime, stay tuned for a preview of the next episode!

I’ve really enjoyed working on these short stories.

So far, we have met three nature spirits.

Furber is taking a short break, but he will return very soon for some more adventures!

  • How to become a Tree Listener

With patience, anyone can become a tree listener. By following the steps below, you can begin your listening journey.

    • Take quiet, gentle steps in the forest
    • Breath deeply
    • Find a tree and meditate with it
    • Imagine becoming one with the tree
    • Feel its roots going deep into the Earth
    • Feel its branches twisting and turning up into the sky
    • Share gratitude
    • Invite the tree to speak to you
    • Listen deeply with your heart

  • Finding Joy in Self

People spend their lives searching for the things that they think will make them happy.

    ‘When I get a new car…’

    ‘When I finish my exams…’

    ‘When I have more money…’

    ‘…then I’ll be happy’

When we think like this, happiness gets stuck in the future.

And sometimes it can feel very far away.

However, you already have everything you need to experience joy in the present moment.

Remember the last time you were happy. Feel into that moment. Feel those sensations in your body.

    Joy comes from within us.

And the more we can connect to ourselves with love and kindness, the more we connect with our own inner joy.
